4DGreenland in short
The overall objective of 4DGreenland is to perform an integrated assessment of Greenland’s hydrology through maximizing the use of Earth Observation data. This will be done through quantification of the major components of Greenland’s hydrological system and their interconnections: surface melt processes, supraglacial dynamics, and subglacial melt, storage, and drainage. 4DGreenland is funded through ESAs POLAR+ program and is part of the ESA polar science cluster (https://eo4society.esa.int/communities/scientists/esa-polar-science-cluster/). The project was kicked-off in September 2020 and will run for two years.
